What do we do?

In honour of Reconciliation day, otherwise called Orange Shirt Day, we want to raise awareness of the ongoing colonization of Indigenous communities in Canada, hereby called Turtle Island, and how we can collectively work toward reconciliation. To do this, we recognize the history and present of Turtle Island and the devastating, ongoing oppression of its First Peoples. Moreover, we highlight important figures and events in both Indigenous history and present.
